Hello,
My name is James, but all my friends call me "Jimmy" or "JP". I am living in Grand Forks, North Dakota right now, but I have orders to Hill AFB in Ogden. To tell you the truth I am a little worried about the move. See, I am a BIG-HUDGE waterfowl hunter. I LOVE to hunt geese and ducks but I can't find anything about waterfowling in Utah. If any of you can point me in the right direction for some info about it, other than the Utah game and fish web site it would be great. I know there is a season for waterfowling but I really can't get a feel for how it is.
Also, Coming form North Dakota, my wife and I are BIG walleye eaters. In-fact I have been known to drive for three hours just to fish for a couple of hours for walleye. I see that the limit in Utah is 10 walleye per person, I don't know if that is because there are so many walleye in Utah or is it because no one really wants them. I know the Utah is a big trout state but I sure do love my walleyes.
Lastly, my wife, kids, and I love to ice fish. Is there such a thing as ice fishing in northern Utah? I have all the ice fishing gear, shack, Aqua-Vu, Vexilar, everything, but I don't know if I should even bring it with me on the move, or if I should just sell all that stuff now.
Hit me back guys. I am leaving all of my fishing ang hunting buddies up here in ND and need the new contacts/friends. Thank for any info that you can give.
Jimmy
